Little One
03:40
|
|||
Go on little one
keep on sarching for your dream
Go on little one
don’t stop until you have found it
You are here
you and no-one else but you
because there’s something here
you’re meant to do
You will fall and fail
you’ll slip and slide
and break and bail
You’ll hurt, you will ache
you’ll doubt yourself
and everyone else
and the pain
when embraced will disappear
one day
Go on little one
you are the on who’s deciding
Go on little one
you are the one that can change it
You create
your own world either way
your world is what you’re
actually paid
You will fall and fail
you’ll slip and slide
and break and bail
You’ll hurt, you will ache
you’ll doubt yourself
and everyone else
and the pain
when embraced will disappear
one day

My Friend
06:09
|
|||
Don’t apologize my friend
it’s time to awaken the man within
to a new world everyday
the seasons tend to change
a decade’s gone while you’ve sat on
the bus.
How strong, how strong you’ve become my friend
and you and I, are still far away from the end
it’s only you and I
who know our place to hide
when the rain sets in and we are set aside
You’re older now
you’ve seen more and so you hide
more often in our spot
still I haven’t seen a dark cloud on the sky
At last it’s only you my friend
and you’ve got all this time to spend
and if you spend it wise,
keep conquerring your mind
then you will be a man and not a child.
You’re older now
you’ve seen more and so you hide
more often in our spot
still I haven’t seen a dark cloud on the sky

While Nadiya sleeps
03:38
|
|||
Far beyond, the furthest star
all lights go out, there’s an end to the fire
The wind may blow, a leave to your
open hand, it grazes your palm
And nowhere nowhere else
could you have been and felt less tense
The world you see is you
and how you make it make sence
And in a room late at night
papers are signed by those given the right
It’s ten to twelve the day is done
the pen is put back and tomorrow will come
While Nadiya sleeps
While Nadiya sleeps

Indian Summer
05:13
|
|||
The leaves on the ground
they’ve fallen from the sky
the tree stands alone and
weeps
The last days have been warm
the Autumn wasn’t born
until we met today
And the stream of cars
on the Highway did not end
And the daylight is bright
it gets brighter all the time
and I think to myself
its too warm for a fall
It comes and goes
rises and falls
being fulfilled then
suddenly crave
Searching for
something to fill the hole
It ain’t Coca-Cola though
they make me believe
the advertising industry
I know that what I
want
Ain’t for sale anywhere
I can’t pay to have my share
no-one cooks it in a
Laboratory
So my mind reaches out
holds on to whats about
in search of a remedy
Of a cause
and a purpose
for something that’s
worthwhile
And the search
and exploration
is what life is all about
Most forlks don’t know
what they search
or why they’re searching
at all..
It comes and goes
rises and falls
being fulfilled then
suddenly crave
Searching for
something to fill the hole
It ain’t Coca-Cola though
they make me believe
the advertising industry
I know that what I
want
Ain’t for sale
anywhere
Ain’t for sale
anywhere
Ain’t for sale
anywhere
Ain’t for sale
anywhere

Gone with the Wind
05:14
|
|||
When he first met her
he couldn’t think of what to say
when he first held her,
he couldn’t answer wich day
it was it all was too unclear
he saw the sun in the waves of her
chest-nut colored hair
in the wind
she came with the wind
And for a time the two would
walk on happy sunny streets
walking hand in hand
what a blessing they would meet
oh how lucky you can get
a hope a chance to believe in the
world and in a happy end
for a while
you can believe
for a while
Spring is short and summer’s long
before fall knocks on your door
the winter comes
can you hold on
then hold on
hold on til spring comes around
When the two now meet
they will hug and say those words
that they’re used to now
they sound different than at first
when each compliment was sweet
the fight to earn to survive no longer
come that easily
gone with the wind
it’s gone with the wind
And now they both know
now they know that it won’t last
the holiday is gone
the easy love’s part of the past
good old Darwin touché
two cups of coffee’s left untouched
inside an empty street-café
gone with the wind
she’s gone with the wind
Spring is short and summer’s long
before fall knocks on your door
the winter comes
can you hold on
then hold on
hold on til spring comes around

We put our foot forth and walked new terrains
we used an old map we found in a fairytale
the skies gave us rainbows we followed in hope
our hope grew stronger with each step we took
And now we are here, where’s the pot of gold?
And the old ones who started our march, they’re all gone
And science made us walk faster, but brought no
fairytales of hope.
So what do we do now, where to we go?
A young man is asking, he gets no answer from anyone
the skies show no rainbows, the old ones have moved on
those who would know, and get answers on their own.
So we sit and wait for an answer from a god
who we no longer believe in and no longer trust
the game of life on earth seems to evil and unjust
Hold on says another when walking we did fine
perhaps our troubles are caused by a wrong state of mind
lets seek new borders, lets walk while we’ve got time
lets walk new terrains, even though we’re blind
We’ll invent new tales with hope for those to come
and a new world will follow, a new land, a new rainbow
lets hope that sense and reason, will prosper and grow

It's always Raining
07:23
|
|||
It’s always raining when you come to Berlin
and I keep forgetting where I’ve been
who I’ve seen
what it is I’ve done
and why I feel surprised
that you have arived
We sit down
we drink our tea
the sage in the window
the smile you’re not smiling
is telling me
it’s the last time
Is everything ok I ask
how’s it going in your life
and as you give your answer
I am thinking about the time
I want to know
allthough i don’t need to
we’re like the radio
sometimes it’s nice
I try to feel
to see if there is something
a sign I should close
my hand around yours
and hold on
And as you go I wonder
if this is my life
if it would be appropriate
to call and apologize
to my friends
to everyone that I’ve let down
the bonds I failed
to maintain
is this it
is this how it will be?
Is this life a series
of short lived friendships
the rain doesn’t stop
as you leave.

The Newspaper Says
04:11
|
|||
The Newspaper says
and some of my friends
a war’s coming closer
and I should be scared
somehow I just don’t care
I’m going back to bed
more scared that my heart
will stop during the night
and even if they are right
if it is true
that our days in this world
are nearly due
I’m going out the door to
try to meet a stranger
to spend the night with
to take comfort in her kiss
and I will keep my eyes shut
and keep my ears closed
to peoples complaints
and to destructive thoughts
I’ve sat up my walls
I’ve closed all of my doors
I’ve removed my name from
my letter box and
Tyrannies follow Democracies
like winters follows falls
it’s all a bad dream
It’s a fools mind
who thinks the past
lies exclusively and
only behind
who wants to rewind
jump over fences and
travel in time
escaping, erasing
not preventing the
flaws of his nature
closing his mind and
thereby closing his eyes
to the role that he plays
the future he pays
the world he creates
with the handshakes
he makes
it’s noone’s fault it’s
just people multiplied
by billions.
The upward scaling of
both good and bad in a
balance game
like the “old school”
weights
where one side retreats
as the other progress
the seasons of the cities
of the ages of the species
do not differ
all that much from each-
other it seems to be
a divine touch and
Tyrannies follow
Democracies like winters
follows falls it’s all a bad
dream
and how come I think I’m
not affected by the changes
of the world
that I’m in.
